Export your data
Data & privacy explains why the export archive exists and how it differs from the automatic encrypted backup — this page is just the steps.
Steps
- Open Settings in your Dashboard (
#/settings). - Find the Export archive panel and click Download export archive.
- Your browser downloads a file directly — this never routes through the control plane, and unlike the automatic backup, it isn't encrypted (it's you, over your own already-authenticated session, pulling your own data).
What's in it
- A manifest listing everything else the archive contains.
- Your Stack's raw Event journal.
- A fetchable git bundle for every Thread that currently holds an Unshipped attempt — commits that never reached your remote — so that work is recoverable independent of the Thread or its Workspace still existing.
