Export Your Data

TL;DR

Download an Export Archive from Settings before deleting your Stack or closing your account. It contains the Event journal and recoverable unshipped commits, but excludes Credentials and Environments.

Steps

1. Open Settings in your Dashboard (#/settings).
2. Find the Export archive panel and click Download export archive.
3. Your browser downloads the file directly from your Stack. It doesn't route through the Control Plane. Unlike the automatic backup, it isn't encrypted because it travels over your authenticated session.

What's in it

• A manifest listing everything else the archive contains.
• Your Stack's raw Event journal.
• A fetchable git bundle for every Thread that currently holds an Unshipped attempt: commits that never reached your remote. This keeps the work recoverable even if the Thread or its Workspace no longer exists.

The archive excludes Credentials and Environments because both can authorize actions on your behalf. It also excludes Workspaces. If an operator later restores your Stack from a backup, they re-enter Environments just as they re-enter Credentials.
