Export your data

Data & privacy explains why the export archive exists and how it differs from the automatic encrypted backup — this page is just the steps.

Steps

Open Settings in your Dashboard (#/settings).
Find the Export archive panel and click Download export archive.
Your browser downloads a file directly — this never routes through the control plane, and unlike the automatic backup, it isn't encrypted (it's you, over your own already-authenticated session, pulling your own data).

What's in it

A manifest listing everything else the archive contains.
Your Stack's raw Event journal.
A fetchable git bundle for every Thread that currently holds an Unshipped attempt — commits that never reached your remote — so that work is recoverable independent of the Thread or its Workspace still existing.
